Description
Sulfur Mine located in the mouth of a volcano in East Java. One of only 2 places in the world where blue lava exists, the other being in Alaska. Every day and night these miners work, chipping away slowly at the sulfur mine and carrying it by hand up the volcano and back down. All this in exchange for the equivalent of a few Australian dollars. A spectacular sight for some, a harsh reality for others.
